Your quote is built in real-time, you can cover as many appliances as you want, all under one simple policy.

The excess is the contribution you are prepared to pay when you make a claim.

We have Four levels of excess £75, £55, £35 and £0. You may vary the excess just by clicking on the relevant value you want in the Your Quote section.

Increasing the excess level is a good way to lower your monthly payments. However many customers prefer to pay £0 excess on their policy. Simply choose the level that suits you.

Most customers choose to pay Monthly however you may also choose the pay Annually and receive a 10% discount!

TV & Satellite Cover Details

TV Repair

We'll send an engineer to repair any electrical or mechanical breakdown with your television.

TV Replacement

If we can't repair your TV we'll arrange for the delivery of a new TV.

Remote Covered

We'll have a new TV remote delivered if it develops a fault.

Satellite Dish

We'll cover your Satellite Dish against Breakdown and Realignment or Repositioning where necessary in order to rectify a signal or reception problem. You can claim up to £400 for any one Satellite Box / Dish

SKY Box

We'll cover your Sky Box for repair or replacement in the event of it developing a fault. Our engineer will either repair it or replace it there-and-then to get you back up and running as quickly as possible. You can claim up to £400 for any one Satellite Box / Dish.

Cabling & Remote

We'll cover all the cabling associated with your SKY Installation including the cables to and from the SKY Dish. We'll also cover your remote control should it malfunction.

Boiler Cover Details

Boiler Repair

We'll send an engineer to repair your boiler, our engineers can normally fix most faults there-and-then. You can claim up to £1,000 per boiler, or up to the value you have declared for your boiler.

Complete Cover

When you add boiler cover to your policy we'll not only cover your Boiler but we'll also cover it along with the Thermostat, Timer, Pump, & Diverter Valve against mechanical or electrical breakdown

Optional Boiler Service

Water Supply / Pipes

Cover for the leakage, collapse or blockage of the mains water supply pipe up to £500 per claim.

Blocked Drains

Cover for blocked waste drainage pipes or rainwater drains up to £500 per claim.

Internal Gas Supply

Cover for complete loss of your internal gas supply up to £500 per claim.

Internal Electrics

Our insurance products are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). This means you may be entitled to compensation if the insurer cannot meet their obligations. Most insurance contracts are covered for 90% of the claim.

Summary of Terms

  • Repair or replacement cost excluding installation, (whichever is the lesser) of registered home appliances specified in your schedule incurred as a result of a breakdown during the cover period up to the single claim limit, subject to the terms of the policy.
  • The normally replaceable components of a registered home appliance should they suffer a breakdown.
  • Choose from one of each of the following types: Cooker, Oven, Hob, Dishwasher, Freezer, Fridge, Fridge-freezer, Microwave Oven, Tumble Dryer, Washer/Dryer, Washing Machine, Cooker Hood.
  • Television includes remote control and associated cables. Satellite boxes for receipt of non-terrestrial television channels and Televisions located in your home.
  • Satellite equipment includes the remote for each box, associated cables, related equipment, the satellite dish and LNB.
  • Realignment or repositioning of the satellite dish and LNB in order to rectify signal or reception problems.
  • Cover for a domestic gas fired boiler contained in your home with a total system output not exceeding 70kW including the pump, motorised valves, thermostat, timer, temperature and pressure controls.
  • Accidental damage, loss, breakdown, or physical damage due to fire, flood, storm, theft or attempted theft, lightning, explosions, or water damage.
  • Any applicable excess as shown in the policy documents.
  • Any consumer replaceable or cosmetic components. User replaceable parts that are not electro-mechanical in nature e.g. drawers, bulbs, filters.
  • Structural or insulation issues, corrosion, scratches, dents and blockages. The repair or replacement of components faulty prior to the Policy Start Date.
  • Faults that are subject to recall by the manufacturer, or under a manufacturer’s guarantee.
  • Deliberate damage, neglect, misuse or caused by use after the fault developed.
  • 3D spectacles.
  • Breakdown to any registered item occurring during the initial exclusion period (30 days from the date the appliance is first registered).
  • Damage or breakdown due to sludge or costs due to chemical flush.
  • Back boilers and boilers operated by oil, solid fuel, or liquid petroleum gas.
  • Any compensation or financial loss of any description including food loss or laundry costs, other than the repair costs in respect of the home appliance that has suffered the breakdown.
  • Installation of new home appliances, reinstallation of home appliances and any adjustments to cabinets, fixtures and fittings.

Yes, we cover appliances of any age.

The excess is the amount you are prepared to pay each time you make a claim. You can choose either £0, £35, £55 or £75 depending on your requirements.

Increasing the excess generally makes the price of your policy cheaper.

You will be covered for the engineers call-out, together with the cost of the labour and parts needed to effect the repair on your appliance.

In the first instance we will try and repair your appliance. If this is not possible we will arrange for a new one to be delivered or provide an alternative cash settlement.

At the checkout process you can choose to start your policy either from Today or anytime up to 40 days from today.

You may pay either by Direct Debit or by Debit/Credit Card. Most customers usually pay by Direct Debit. You can also pay either Monthly or Annually. There is a 10% discount if you choose to pay Annaually.

If you purchase your cover on-line you will receive your documentation by email immediately following purchase. If you call us to setup your cover we will email your documentation to you once the agent has finished processing your payment. You can request printed documentation at any time if you wish, these are normally posted within 2-3 working days.

You can add additional items later to your policy whenever you want. If you pay monthly the premium will be adjusted from the next monthly payment onwards. If you pay annually we will calculate the new amount due to cover your additional items up until the expiry date of your policy.
